Fishing for Change

Join us for a FREE adventure on the water in Bristol Harbour this half term, kindly funded by The Grand Appeal.
Climb aboard SeaCycler: a litter picking punt (one of only 6 of its kind in the world) and embark on a litter picking mission to remember!
Monday 28th October 2024
9.30am - 11.45am
What can I expect?

See Bristol from a whole different perspective onboard SeaCycler, a boat made from 99% recycled plastic!
We have space for 18 people and we will split into two groups before combining again to look at our litter treasures.
Onboard activity: spend an hour on the water with SeaCycler skipper Jon, helping to clean up our waterways by litter picking out of the water.
Land activity: Join Jo to explore the litter that we find around the harbour and have a go at some waste activities.

- Patients and/or siblings with at least one parent or carer

What do I need to bring?

*ALL litter picking kit and equipment will be provided
What else do I need to know?
.png)
- Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis
- We have been granted permission for use of toilet and hand washing facilities from some of the supportive local harbour restaurants.
- We will be outside for the duration of the trip, but will only cover a small distance on foot
Who should I contact if I can't make it?
